They are central themes in Scripture and raise crucial issues about the relationships among understandings of God, Christ, human beings, Christian community, and social and political life. This series offers listeners an opportunity to deepen their theological understanding of forgiveness and reconciliation through consideration of central issues and practices. Particular emphasis is given to why forgiveness matters, how it is embodied in Christian life, and the obstacles and challenges others might offer to Christian understandings and practices of forgiveness and reconciliation. The goal is to attain a deeper understanding and more faithful practice of Christian forgiveness and reconciliation.
